About Me

Dr Shrinivas Tambe is a renowned Paediatric Intensivist and Neonatologist in Pune. He has his own clinic in Aundh, Pune. Dr Tambe has an extensive experience of 18 years in Paediatrics and has worked in various prestigious hospitals in UK for 9 years. Dr Tambe completed his paediatric postgraduate training (MD Paediatrics) from BYL Nair Hospital Mumbai and subsequently he moved to United Kingdom for further training. He has completed his paediatric intensive care from Royal Manchester Childrens Hospital Manchester and Freeman Hospital Newcastle UK. He is trained in paediatric cardiac intensive care, ECMO, paediatric heart transplant, Ventricular assist devise(VAD), echocardiography. He has completed his neonatal intensive training from James Cook university hospital Middlesbrough UK. He has been awarded Fellowship of Royal College of Paediatrics (FRCPCH) London in 2017. He has experience of leading the paediatric and neonatal intensive care in tertiary care hospital.

His interests are neonatal cardiology, functional and structural echocardiography, neonatal and paediatric transport and retrieval, nutrition in sick children, intravenous fluid therapy, paediatric cardiology and mechanical ventilation.
